DALLAS BAR ASSOCIATION NAMES CLERKS OF THE YEAR

On December 10, the Dallas Bar Association held its annual Clerks and Coordinators Awards Lunch at the Belo Mansion. At the event, five District Clerk staff members won Best Clerk in their respective categories as a result of votes cast by Dallas County attorneys.

Michele Morneault, lead clerk in the101st, was named Best Civil District Clerk. Angelina Meade was named Best IV-D Clerk and Sheila Bailey-Wilson from the 330th was named Best Family Clerk.

Additionally, Susan Haynes, lead clerk of the 304th, was named Best Juvenile Clerk, and ShaRonda Prater of CDC#1 was named Best District Criminal Clerk.

Sheila says that one asset that helps her excel each day is her attitude that every day holds prospects to learn something new and that any one can be a success if they really try to get the most out of their job.

Undoubtedly, it is that kind of attitude that motivates these clerks to excel in their demanding jobs. And obviously, the award reflects the fact that the attorneys these clerks work with every day recognize and appreciate their excellence. Congratulations to all award-winners.
